Abstract :
An evaluation index system was established to assess wastewater reclamation and reuse project. Considering the different characteristics and main factors of the centralized and decentralized wastewater reclamation and reuse engineering, the index system includes 13 individual indices in five categories: water quantity, water quality, techniques, economy and management. After the index system having been established, an integrative fuzzy hierarchical model was used to evaluate a typical project in Xi´an. Results were in good agreement with the real conditions. This indicates that the index system can provide a reliable basis for the planning and management of wastewater reclamation and reuse projects.
