Abstract
Various sources of RF-DC differences of a micropotentiometer (/spl mu/pot) are analyzed and calculated, and the results agree well with the experiments. New design reduces the RF-DC differences of /spl mu/pot significantly. Observations show good stability over a 20-year period, which makes /spl mu/pots suitable as primary RF standards in the microvolt and millivolt ranges.
