Abstract :
The main procedures of a new maze router for a VLSI CAD system are discussed in this paper. The maze router presented allows to create tracks with different width and to solve known difficult Soukup´s (1978) routing problems. A new approach to maze routing was described in (Kureichik et al., 1999). The main maze routing ideas are presented. The detailed functional description of its main procedures is proposed.
