Abstract
This paper explains one instructor´s use of the group discussion method of teaching in a technical electrical engineering technology course. The technique of group discussion as a teaching method is not new. Its use in technical courses, however, is uncommon. By noting the positive results from the use of this technique, the author suggests that others should consider it a teaching technique which increases students´ interest and learning.
