Abstract :
Code constructions for quasi-synchronous and asynchronous code-division multiple-access (CDMA) systems with finite delays are presented in this paper. With all transmitted sequences reaching the receiver within a finite delay of D digits, for each J, there are at least 2J(J-2)/(2log2/3)-1+1log23 and (J-1)2J-2/log23 spreading sequences of length 2 J-1D+2J-1 for quasi-synchronous and asynchronous systems respectively
