Abstract :
In this paper we propose the use of a minimum mean square error (MMSE) detector for multiuser OFDM-based ultra wideband (UWB) systems. Performance of the proposed multiuser detector is illustrated with numerical results obtained from simulations showing the bit error rate performance (BER) at the physical layer under various UWB channel scenarios that include additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN), multipath, and narrowband interference.
