Abstract :
This paper is concerned with tracking a group of separating targets, using possibly merged measurements from active or passive RF or IR/EO sensors. Assuming that each sensor subsystem performs single-scan-based signal processing to generate, as a recently-developed or soon-to-be-developed capability, a probabilistic assessment of the number of targets from which a single detection originates, a new kind of tracking approach based on the generalized Janossy measure concept is proposed.
