  • Abstract
Smart grids use intelligent transmission and distribution network to delivery electricity. This approach aims to improve the electric system´s reliability, security, and efficiency through two-way communication of consumption data and dynamic optimization of electric-system operations, maintenance, and planning. The smart grid, in fact, incorporates many resources, applications and enabling technologies like smart meters, standards, and protocols that can rise many security issues and advantages as well. This paper aim is the find out the main potential indicators of cyber threats to Industrial Control Systems (ICS) related to smart grids that suggest a set of approaches including technical social indicators from ZigBee protocol to the willingness of the members of the group to use the pervasive systems without checking the associated security risks.
