Abstract
In this paper, the on-body performance of a single-input single-output (SISO) system is evaluated. Measurement campaigns using Monopole antennas have been taken in a gold mine. Three on-body channels were characterized in terms of the channel impulse response, RMS delay spread, coherence bandwidth, and channel capacity. The variation of these parameters in the different measurement scenarios was discussed.
