Abstract
In this paper, we propose a high presence informal communication system between different locations using tiled display system environment installed on public places. A large number of users can simultaneously use the tiled displays on each location and freely communicate with the other persons using his/her smart phones by exchanging his/her voice, video and messages, eventually informal talk can be realized each other. Thus, informal communication can be easily realized. In this paper, a system configuration and architecture and realization method of informal communication system using tiled display and smartphone are explained. In order to verify our proposed system, the first preliminary test is evaluated on the local network environment. Through this functional evaluation, possibility of informal communication by combination and smart phone and tiled display system is shown.
