Abstract :
A model based on fuzzy synthetic evaluation with variable weight was put forward to evaluate investment risk in international engineering project. Firstly, investment risk evaluation index system of international engineering project was established. Secondly, evaluation set and evaluation matrix were determined. Analytic hierarchy process was applied to calculate constant weight, local variable weight principle combining penalty with incentive was introduced to calculate variable weight, risk level was determined by product of weight set and evaluation matrix. Finally, a case study was presented to verify the feasibility of the model which would provide a reliable basis for the investment decision.
