Abstract :
Urban green space system planning, which greatly affects the quality of citizens´ daily lives, is the basis of Green Landscape matrix and sustainable development of economic and society. It plays an important role in construction of urban ecological environment. A pleasant, livable and work-suitable urban green space system with local culture and unique custom is particularly important for medium and small cities. However, imitation of planning method and working progress of urban green space system plans in metropolises is not available for the mid and small ones. As a result, the plans in medium and small cities should be based on its own advantages and characteristics in nature, physiognomy and culture. By analyzing present urban green space system plans in medium and small cities, the author does a research project including theory, designing and manipulation of urban green system planning, and tries to propose some notions.
