Abstract
This paper presents a methodology that can be automatized in order to analyze and design multiphase converters with coupled inductors regardless of the magnetic structure. The general procedure is to obtain a symbolic model of the converter in a generic state-space form. With this model, the expressions for the main design issues are obtained involving the magnetic and electric parameters of the converter. The validation of the procedure is presented contrasting the results with real converter measurements.
