Research of configuration management in complex equipment collaborative R&D

Complex equipment R&D has the characteristics of inter-disciplines, complicated technical interface, long cycle of development and difficult configuration management, etc. The collaborative R&D procedures for complex equipment and the characteristics of configuration management are analyzed in this essay. Such core business processes as baselines, engineering change, phase transfer audit of configuration management are realized by exploiting the product structure management, documentation management, change management and process management on the collaborative R&D support platform based on the PDM system. With the development and implementation of the PDM system, the configuration and quality management of the equipment R&D can be more standardized and effective, and the configuration management of the R&D system can be more effectively supported.
