Abstract
Consideration is given to methods of designing ultrawide band (UWB) radars intended for detection and remote measuring parameters of moving objects at short distances (tens of centimeters-units of meters). The descriptions of radar´s structure schemes and characteristics are given together with main results of prototype test. The analysis of fields of application for UWB radars demonstrates that radars of that type can be used practically in all cases where we need highly precise remote observation of moving objects at short distances.
