Abstract
To improve the mining reliability, an intelligent acoustic-waves-monitor is developed to use for monitoring the stability of rock. This paper introduces the principle figure of an intelligent acoustic-waves-monitor based on acoustic emission, and describes its software design, hardware design and some parts of functions. Practical use shows that it can provide numeric and graphic data for technical persons, and provide a reliable tool for mines to evaluate the safety of producing
