Abstract
Motivated by the study of the topological properties of the flow on the boundary of the basin of attraction of asymptotically stable equilibria and limit cycles, we provide a set of sufficient conditions which allow to interpret the flow on a possibly exotic set, as the push-forward, through a suitable map (for instance an immersion), of a corresponding flow defined on a compact manifold without boundary
