Abstract
When the computer-mediated remote collaborative design team need to develop trust, it is advantageous for the team to match communication modes to information exchange channels. This paper discusses trust level in different modechannel combinations environment with the aim to find out the best matches of communication modes (sequence, layer, and net mode) and information exchange channels (text, audio, and video) for trust building in computer-mediated remote collaborative design.
