Study on elements of mountain tourism sustainable development in high mountain and extra-high mountain — A case study of Minya Konka area in Kangding

Abstract :
In general, mountain over 3500m is called High Mountain and more than 5000m is called extra-high mountain from geomorphology view. High Mountain and extra-high mountain have much more advantages than those of low mountain and middle mountain corresponding the world tourism trend of novelty and knowledge, which have strong natural attraction and international competitiveness. Because of the limit of traffic and outdoor equipment, this type of tourism development has lagged behind. Taking Minya Konka area in Kangding for example, based on objective reality of High Mountain and extra-high mountain, this paper put forword the six elements, that is landscape elements, economic and social elements, green services elements, visitor safety service elements, new products elements and peak experience elements for providing theoretical basis and sustainable development strategy of High Mountain and extra-high mountain.
