Abstract :
Taking the southeastern Badain Jaran Desert, Gurinai and Guaizihu areas as an example, discreteness, principal component and correlation of the chemical constituents of 19 water samples were analyzed based on the principle of distance space, which is for the benefit of sampling and test. And the clustering analysis was carried out combining with the stable H and O isotopes. It is concluded that the groundwater in southeastern Badain Jaran Desert, Gurinai and Guaizihu areas have the same replenishment sources. There is not only one infiltration path of the groundwater from the southeast to Gurinai and Guaizihu areas through the relatively concentration of samples(1~6, 18) in the southeastern and the samples´ dispersion in Gurinai and Guaizihu. The dispersion of the chemical constituents in Guaizihu may be caused by the long distance infiltration and the ions exchange with the surrounding rock and soil system. Three artesian wells in Guaizihu have reserved much information of the initial recharge source because of the greater renovating speed, no exchange with the atmosphere and the little evaporation.
