Abstract :
With the research results of ecological water requirements, ecological system composition and structure was invested in west of Liaoning Province. It was believed that ecological water requirement of the region should be considered at water resources balance analysis in land development and consolidation projects. The suitable calculation method of ecological water requirement was chosen in the paper, and an example was given about land development and consolidation project in Chaoyang city that water resources balance was changed after recording ecological water requirement. The result gave the theory basis for further research ecological water requirement, played ecological benefit and promoted ecosystem benign cycle.
