Abstract
The article discusses the reliability of the human operator in the Man - Machine - System (MMS). Safety and reliability of technical systems can be critically influenced by people´s behavior. It is necessary to analyze the technical components of the system and at the same analyzing human activities. Creating a probabilistic risk assessment (PSA) is based on a comprehensive evaluation of human behavior. Probabilistic estimate of a human reliability assessment (HRA) aims at the quantitatively analyze human action to identify possible errors, identifying weaknesses in the system. In the second part of the article there is an analysis of dynamic changes in driver behavior due to rising fatigue. The fatigue and a decrease in concentration are reflected especially on long monotonous rides on highway, where cars reach high speeds. The failure of the driver in this situation is critical.
