Abstract :
Activated Carbon is a water treatment adsorbent with a large adsorption capacity, its adsorption capacity will be able to greatly enhance after modified activated. Through the use of before and after the modification of mesoporous activated carbon powder to the heavy metals copper ion adsorption, the effects of different pH, adsorption temperature, balance time, the amount of activated carbon adsorption conditions were analyzed. The result was reported that 100 ml low concentration of copper ions in acidic conditions using 0.10 g activated carbon and better balance time for one hour. A frame of reference was to further the use of activated carbon adsorption treatment of industrial wastewater heavy metals copper provides.
