Abstract :
YanTai in China needs to build an international airport, but there are many waste shafts, pits and gob areas. For the safety of the airplane to go up and down, we must recover the geological environment for the workplace. Using GIS (Geographical Information System), the paper set up DTM(Digital Terrain Model) for the workplace, estimated the amount of wasted stones to fill the shafts, pits and gob areas. To keep the balance between filling and cutting, the paper calculated a reasonable designed elevation for the airport.
