Abstract :
Switched reluctance generating (SRG) mode of doubly salient electro-magnetic Generator is studied in this paper, and the work principle is introduced in detail. Then, output port short of the generator, armature reaction, current commutation and load character of the generator are analyzed by finite element analysis. At the same time, SRG mode at the little exciting current is simulated, and the results show: When the generator works in SRG mode, the ratio between output power and exciting power is very large because of strong flux increase effect.
