  • Abstract
High temperature in fire have serious influences on the thermal deformation and stress in reinforced concrete structure, and leads to damage or overall collapse of structure. To explore the behavior of reinforced concrete bridge in fire, a thermal and structural analysis using finite element method is presented. The transient temperature field, thermal deformation and stress in structure are simulated. The damage criterion of reinforced concrete bridge in fire is discussed. These information supply the basis for fire resistance of concrete bridge design.
