  • Abstract
The nature frequencies and mode shapes of flexible structures will be influenced by its large deformation and stress under the effect of loads. The numerical method is used in the dynamic analysis which has considered the influence of fluid-solid interaction, initial tension and the effect of large deformation. The results show that initial tension and large deformation effect have great influence on deformation of flexible structures. The nature frequencies of underwater structures are smaller than those in the air. They increase with initial tension and uniform load. Initial tension and large deformation effect have greater influence on more flexible structures. Comparing with the fundamental frequencies, the uniform load has less influence on the high-order frequencies.
