Abstract :
It is shown that with a gyrodevice operating with a large-orbit beam in a peniotron mode, the restrictions on the operating current magnitude and the magnetic field inhomogeneity become effective (Kurayev and Sinitsin, J. Comms. Tech. and Electron., vol. 39, pp. 115-131, 1995). In order to seek ways of tackling these problems, we focus our attention on studying the oscillator circuit whose operating principle is based upon the interaction between the large-orbit electron beam and the electromagnetic field in crossed static fields in a specific drift-orbital resonance mode.
