Abstract :
Single grey system forecasting model has its limitation, and the bearing characteristic of the pile in soft soil is extremely complicated. Its load-settlement curve usually can not fit the exponential curve, and the single forecasting model cannot fit it completely. In order to improve the prediction´s accuracy on vertical ultimate bearing capability forecast, some grey system forecasting models have been compared in this paper referring to the data of pile static loading test, and the grey system forecasting model which fits Tianjin soft soil best was proposed, providing a new method on the prediction of the pile´s ultimate bearing capability in soft soil area.
