Abstract :
This paper proposes a novel design of a compact multilayered stacked square split ring resonators (SRR) coupled UWB monopole antenna with dual notch function. The notch frequencies are controlled by the SRRs resonances which are determined by the SRRs physical dimensions. The stacked configuration offers more flexibility in controlling the SRR dimension and its resonance frequency.
