Abstract :
In order to consider the interaction between the rigid pavements and the foundation, the mathematical model of the rigid pavements was established on the basis of the thick plate theory. In the model, the rigid pavements were looked as the four simply supported edges of the thick rectangular plate on viscoelastic foundation. The line loads were approximately instead of the impact of the landing aircraft load. The boundary conditions and the initial conditions were introduced in the mathematical model. And then combining with the boundary conditions and initial conditions, the transformation of trigonometric series and the integral method was used to obtain the analytical solution to dynamic response of airport rigid pavements during the aircraft landing.
