Abstract
Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) are widely used in electronics. The usage of PCBs for the creation of micro fluidic parts is rare. But the potential of a fluidic technology based on PCBs is huge. A complete new class of devices is possible. In this paper a micro Flow-Injection-Analysis (FIA) is described which is fully realized using PCBs. The here presented FIA is optimized to detect ferric ions. The simulation of the detector cell and the mixing and the test measurements are described in this paper.
