Abstract :
The retrieval of the dielectric features of unknown objects buried in a lossy half-space starting from Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) measurements is addressed in this work. Towards this end, multi-chromatic scattering data are processed by means of an iterative multi-resolution methodology based on Conjugate Gradient (CG) combined with a Frequency Hopping (FH) strategy. Selected preliminary results are presented to investigate the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed approach.
