Abstract
A new blind equalization technique of non-minimum phase communication channels is presented in this paper. In the context of channel diversity, this contribution proposes to estimate a zero-forcing equalizer with zero-delay. The link between this method and both TXK (Tong and Kailath, 1994) and MRE (Gesbert et al., 1997) algorithms is demonstrated. An argument in support of this approach is that this algorithm is very easy to implement. As a consequence, a new technique to estimate the channel order (involving a test on the output constellation) is derived. Numerical simulations study the behaviour of the proposed method in a digital communication context.
