  • Abstract
The synthesis of heteropoly compounds and preparation of the heteropoly acid zinc salt as photocatalyst, and their characterizations are studied by IR, SEM and BET. The result showed that the prepared compounds have Keggin structure, and remain the structure after salted, the HPA for degrading dye wastewater analog, photocatalytic decolorization rate methyl orange solution is investigated, The photocatalytic performances, the effects of the HPA and ZnPA, the different amount of catalyst and oxidant for the catalytic performance of immobilized HPA and the catalytic performance of recycling three times were discussed. The results showed that the photocatalytic performances of the HPA salted was more better, and photo-degradation efficiency relies on the amount of catalysts and oxidants, the catalyst is recoverable and readily to recycle.
