Abstract
A three phase, power factor corrected, 48 V/11 kW rectifier for telecom applications is described. The choice of electrical circuit topologies, three-level three-phase boost converter for the PFC, and the matching three-level DC/DC-converter for isolation and output voltage regulation, enable a very compact, 600 W/liter, and efficient, >93%, rectifier module.
