Abstract
This paper exploits geometric techniques in the context of two-dimensional Fornasini-Marchesini models for the solution of the following problems: i) decoupling of measurable input signals via dynamic feedforward compensators; ii) model matching with dynamic feedforward compensation; iii) model matching with dynamic output feedback compensation. In all cases, geometric solvability conditions are provided, as well as the explicit structure of the corresponding compensators
