Abstract :
Aimed at the design of shielding cover in defense works, the advances in shielding cover research were summarized and analyzed. The available researches can be concluded to the following three types: enhance the compressive strength, tensile strength, hardness and toughness of the materials in shielding cover, improve the structure of shielding cover, set the irregular-shape yaw-inducing layers on the surface of shielding cover. And the development tendency was discussed. The results show: the advanced shielding cover should meet the three essential conditions: safe and reliable, economical and practical, maintainable and recoverable, and the meaning of these conditions was illustrated. All those can be referenced for the design of advanced shielding cover in defense works.
