Abstract :
A wideband printed dual-antenna for mobile terminals is proposed. The dual-antenna, consisting of two symmetric antenna elements and a protruded ground, is printed on a printed circuit board. The proposed antenna is analyzed in detail for better understanding. A prototype shows that the measured - 10 dB impedance bandwidth is 1.06 GHz (1.68-2.74 GHz) and the measured mutual coupling is lower than -15 dB within this frequency band. It covers the GSM1800/GSM1900/UMTS/LTE 2300/LTE2500/2.4-GHz WLAN bands. The measured gain and efficiency are higher than 4.5 dBi and 65%, respectively.
