Abstract :
In order to mitigate the occurrence probability of vicious circle problems in DS-CDMA systems and to prevent each mobile station (MS) from infeasible power control problems, the transmission power of each MS and number of users in each cell site are proposed in this paper to be used to individually weight the MS´s power and desired SIR adjusting factors outputted from a fuzzy proportional-plus-integral controller. As shown in simulation results, the proposed algorithm can achieve all suppositions mentioned above. In addition, it can be concluded that the proposed power control algorithm is able to simultaneously enhance the QoS and the capacity of the system.
