Abstract
A time-invariant model of the multiple-input buck- boost converter is presented and compared favorably to experimental predictions. Compared to single-input converter, this multiple-input converter has somewhat more complex waveforms and in some instances, interaction between inputs. This makes the use of conventional state-space averaging questionable. Therefore, the use of the multifrequency modeling technique has been proposed, with a modified switching function realization.
