Abstract :
This paper describes a method and setup to measure multipath signal and channel response at IEEE 802.11ad band ranging from 57 GHz to 66 GHz, with a sampling rate of 3.52 GSa/s (0.28 ns resolution). Both directional and broad-beam antennas have been used to study the multipath behavior. It is shown that at shorter ranges (<; 1m) strong multipath, nearly as string as the LOS signal, can change the channel response, significantly.
