  • Abstract
    This paper investigates conditions under which the closed-loop impulse response and the process variable (control loop output) autocorrelation function are equal to each other. Both can be used to assess control loop performance, hence knowledge about conditions of their similarity offers useful insight for quick loop performance assessment.
