Abstract :
We demonstrated that the surface mountable PC-LD module tilted to the optical axis of the fiber had superior noise characteristic (RIN <-120 dB/Hz) under high external optical feedback level, over -40 C to +85 C. These performances are attractive for realizing a low cost single mode-longitudinal LD module
