Abstract
Presents a model providing time-dependent solutions for charge densities, field and electroluminescence in dielectric films under uniform dc field. The model encompasses bipolar carrier production, trapping and recombination phenomena. Numerical simulation is applied to transport in low density polyethylene (LDPE).
