Abstract :
An analytical expression is presented for the gain-bandwidth product of a VCSEL amplifier, which predicts gain-bandwidth products of up to 80 GHz. Gain measurements have been carried out, and bandwidth measurements will be carried out to test the validity of the theoretical predictions
