Ethanol Doped PCFs with Low Dispersion and Low Confinement Loss

Abstract :
This paper presents an unique design of PCFs. The proposed structures have reported anamolous dipersion. Two photonic crystal fibers (PCFs) structures one with ethanol doped holes at alternate rings and other with air holes at all seven rings have been studied. The ethanol dopoed structure reported low dispersion and very low loss compared to the air holes. We have employed FDTD method for the study of various optical parameters. Important parameters like birefringence and V number have also been studied and reported.
