Abstract
A phase-locked loop induction servomotor variable speed drive incorporating a fuzzy logic controller is presented for the precise speed control of induction motors. The proposed system combines the excellent speed regulation of the phase-locked loop techniques and the advantages of fuzzy logic controllers. A system is implemented to verify the performance of the proposed system. The experimental results show that the combination of a fuzzy logic controller and the phase-locked loop in induction servomotor variable speed drives can achieve precise speed control with fast response
