Abstract
This paper attempts to compare the performance of a versatile analog building block viz. the Current Conveyor across various technologies and feature sizes. This is done in view of continued device scaling for CMOS as well as the impending switch from CMOS to alternate technologies. The performance of Inverting Current Conveyor (ICC-II) has been evaluated for 0.35 μm & 65 nm CMOS and 32 nm CNFET. Results of SPICE simulation show that the CNFET-based ICCII outperforms its bulk CMOS counterparts. Both the voltage and current bandwidths are found to be significantly improved extending well beyond 10 GHz.
