Abstract :
NETSYS is an intelligent system for creating and solving generalized network models with substantial knowledge of generalized networks. It uses that knowledge to create networks and to investigate their feasibility. This system uses a very powerful and easy-to-use user interface. A user of NETSYS would first create node sets and then arc sets by taking cross products and using one-to-one mappings with subsets of those sets. Default data, associated with the nodes and arcs at the time of creation, can be easily edited before problem solution. It is not required for the user to learn the syntax of a modeling language before this system can be used
